As a practitioner I strive to be indiscriminately kind, reverent/irreverent, intuitive, gracious, playful, and technically skilled. I offer table massage, Thai massage, and Attunement, and I am excited to incorporate the fascial and cranial techniques I have learned so far. Due to the repercussions of having two ribs removed, I do not practice ‘old school’ deep tissue bodywork — but I do know several techniques to offer deep bodywork in a way that is gentle both on the body of the client and the practitioner.

In addition to the benefits of massage on muscles, circulation, anxiety, joints, the nervous system, etc. it is my hope in some small way to support others in practicing being present to how life is offering itself to us. Sometimes it offers itself to us in good health, wealth, belonging, and stability; sometimes in hard times, isolation, injuries, and loss. Usually a mix of all the above! I believe that the more we are able to stay present with honesty, gratitude, and grace, the more joyful our experience of life becomes. In this way, no matter the circumstantial outcome, we will always have refuge and delight in who we have chosen to be. I also believe that taking care of our bodies is never just taking care of ourselves, but also committing to being a good participant in something greater.

My training includes traditional Swedish massage, Thai massage, and End of Life massage, all through Spirit Wellness Institute in Salem, MA from 2019-2022. In 2016, I went to my first course in intuitive Cherokee bodywork with Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona and Barbara Mainguy, and I continue to follow their work through the Coyote Institute. I am a student of John Barnes’ Myofascial Release work, and Hugh Milne’s Visionary Craniosacral Work®. For two years I studied homeopathy at Baylight Homeopathy in Portland, ME. Since 2020, I have completed several courses of study with Dr. Daniel Foor at the School of Ancestral Medicine, including courses in ancestral lineage healing, practical animism, animist psychology, and ritual. I am Reiki II certified in the Usui lineage through Meah Starr of MajaEden Wellness, and have been studying and practicing Attunement (energetic balancing) with Nancy Frederick, Andrew Shier, and a global Attunement community since 2018. My former career was in the maritime field, mostly working for nonprofit educational organizations.
