Prenatal Chiropractic

When receiving Webster Technique, the pregnant patient will be placed face down on the chiropractic table on a specific kind of pillow which supports and protects the belly.  The Webster Technique is a very gentle technique that involves specific and gentle pelvic alignments, ligament unwinding methods, and soft tissue work, to ensure proper alignment of the pelvic structure. This may allow for correct fetal position, a more comfortable pregnancy and successful labor, and may also relieve low back discomfort, sciatica, pubic pain, and other muscle tensions.  Most moms are excited to be able to lay on their stomachs for a change!

“The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is restored and facilitated.”
